Sessions are best booked within a few months of baby’s first birthday, either before or after. Each session is perfectly styled with your colors and ideas in mind, often times, to match baby’s first birthday theme. As our client, you will receive exclusive access to our adorable children’s clothing collection and props. When you book, you will receive a pre-consultation to plan out every detail. Your session will include a custom designed cake and decor.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Selecting your child's birth month - this will not be your session date, but it helps us to know when we ideally need to schedule your session.
CAN WE DO SOME REGULAR PHOTOS BEFORE THE SMASH?
Yes. We always aim to photograph 2-3 more organic set-ups before ending with the smash and splash. This will give you a good variety of both timeless and FUN birthday images to choose from. We have studio outfits for your use and I will also send over a prep guide with suggested styles of your own that you can bring.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE?
Cake smashes usually take place 3-4 weeks before your child's birthday, and are booked 8 to 10 weeks in advance.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Not a lot. We like to take care of as much as possible for you. We will reach out to discuss your desired theme, outfit and decor options, and then we will go from there.
DOES MY SESSION INCLUDE THE CAKE AND DECOR?
It does! That’s what makes a session with us so great. You don’t have to run around getting balloons or trying to make sure your cake doesn’t get damaged. We will take care of all of that!
